is it possible that it's sunday night, and this week already sucks? this past long weekend away was good - i picked up a cold, but other than that it was fabulous to get a chance to catch up with my brother and his family, and to see my dad for a bit. however, since i returned to this place everything has pretty much

sucked.

i returned without my husband [who had to make the trip unexpectedly for work], now have a cold, my team is currently losing, and i just got some of the worst news i've gotten in, well, in about 2 months.

it all just seems so cruel.

what is wrong with the world? 

is there never any silver lining?
