rain rain wash away...

the rain pours

as the skies let forth

smacking the windows

thrashing against the roof

creating monstrous puddles

in the backyard

making the world

tumultuous

it drips from the rooftops

gushes from the gutters

blows onto the porch

slides in rapid droplets

down the window panes

as i silently sit

listening to the rain

here's hoping for a

cozy rainy day
