please excuse my lack of expression in the first picture. i was in a bit of a hurry, and it was the first time in a long time that i had used the timer feature on my camera.

hopefully i'll become more adept and take better pictures as this project progresses.

and on the note of taking pictures - i want to start looking for a new camera, a "nice" camera that will enable me to take better pictures. any suggestions?
