our anniversary was yesterday - we've been married for 4 years now. FOUR YEARS. i know it's really not that long in the grand scheme of things, but for me it felt like a wake up call. here's why: we got engaged right around our 3 year dating anniversary, and married 3 months shy of dating for 4 years. so now, we've officially been married for longer than we dated. AND we've been together for almost 8 years. again, 8 years isn't terribly long, but by the time i'm 36 we'll have been together for as much of my life as we weren't.
